KIRKLAND, Wash., April 18, 2019 – Kenworth has published the new 2019 Kenworth T680 Brochure with the latest, comprehensive information on the company’s flagship on-highway truck.
The Kenworth T680 on-highway flagship sets a high standard of excellence with superior fuel efficiency, performance and comfort for over-the-road fleets and truck operators in line haul, pickup and delivery, and regional hauling applications. The T680 is standard with the PACCAR Powertrain, which features the PACCAR MX-13 engine rated up to 510 hp and 1,850 lb-ft of torque, PACCAR 12-speed automated transmission, and PACCAR 40K tandem rear axle.
The Kenworth T680 also offers PACCAR MX-11 engine rated up to 430 hp and 1,650 lb-ft of torque. Both the PACCAR MX-13 and PACCAR MX-11 engines offer optimum performance, industry-leading reliability and durability, and a quiet operating environment for drivers.
The 40-page T680 brochure features information on the T680’s 76-inch high-roof sleeper and 40-inch, 52-inch and 76-inch mid-roof sleeper configurations. Also covered are the T680’s optional “Driver’s Studio” package, interior colors and options, and Kenworth seats with superior comfort, adjustability, ride suspension and personal climate control.
Kenworth TruckTech+® connected truck technologies are also highlighted. The Kenworth TruckTech+ Remote Diagnostics system provides real-time monitoring of critical vehicle systems to optimize truck uptime and productivity. The Service Management system supports the monitoring of a vehicle’s service status and approval of repairs in real-time through the PACCAR Solutions portal.
The T680 brochure explores driver-focused technologies that make life-on-the road easier for the driver. These include driver assistance systems, such as predictive and adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and collision mitigation, as well as the driver performance assistant, power management, Kenworth Idle Management System, and the Kenworth Nav+ HD system.
