Denton, TX, March 30, 2020 — The Peterbilt Technician Institute (PTI) program celebrated a significant milestone this month with the graduation ceremony of its 75th class of students. The 11 newly certified diesel technicians join a growing list of PTI graduates currently in the workplace at Peterbilt service locations across North America. All PTI students compete a comprehensive 12-week training program led by dedicated Peterbilt instructors with a blend of hands-on and online learning using the latest tools and techniques to diagnose, repair and maintain Peterbilt’s best-in-class products.

"The Peterbilt dealer network has a growing demand for entry-level, qualified, diesel technicians and PTI is a unique answer to that demand. This is a win-win, as our service centers get qualified technicians and our graduates have the opportunity to turn their initial dealer assignment into a long-term career,” said Brian Brooks, Program Manager for the Peterbilt Technician Institute.
